Previous works
In addition to the specific works carried out in recent years (and accessible from the home page), the McDonald's case was also dealt with in other Ergosfera research projects, although almost always in a very partial and secondary way.
In the following public presentations, some of the analysis topics that are part of the current structure of the project were introduced:

In addition to these public presentations, as background to this project, it is necessary to mention several works that allowed us to study some topics and particular cases:
- On the one hand, «Tomar medidas. Cinco acercamientos pseudocientíficos a un gran eje urbano en transformación» (A Coruña, 2013-2014), especially the project «24 horas en una centralidad emergente», and «Agrela / Obradoiro de exploración urbana» (A Coruña, 2021), allowed us to study McDonald's Agrela in formal and functional terms, but also from the perspective of its impact on the urbanity of its surroundings and its role as a significant piece in the transformation of a former industrial estate into a neighborhood.
- And on the other hand, «Entre frontera y lugar: ¿cómo funcionan los límites del distrito de Usera?» (Madrid, 2018-2019) allowed us to analyze the McDonald's on Avenida de Andalucía in Usera, a context that is also very common, linked to the great metropolitan communication routes and the wastelands in which these premises lead to the appearance of new pedestrian flows and social practices.
Likewise, in some of the texts published in recent years, some cases and issues in relation to McDonald's are also mentioned:
- «O urbanismo da lei antitabaco» (Novas da Galiza, n.º 186, 2020), an article that briefly comments on the cases of Piazza della Rotonda in Rome and Agrela in A Coruña.
- Habitares. The places of citizens (Andar Quatro, 2009), a book in which the chapter «Condensers. Public lives in private spaces» has a small section dedicated to these global spaces (pages 254 and 255).
